A Review of "Alien Invasion"

Season 3, Episode 16. Throughout the course of the Drake and Josh series, Megan pulled an incredible amount of pranks on her brothers. During the intro of this episode, the boys talk about just a few of the things she has done to them. Drake recalls when she had him enlisted into the Mexican army (classic), and Josh talks about how she once died his underwear pink. He then continues to show his pink underwear to the camera as proof.

Towards the beginning of the episode, Megan gets a brand new telescope. She then takes it outside and uses Josh's laptop to control it and Drake's nice jacket so it doesn't get wet.





When the brothers catch her doing this, she lays down on the ground and screams until Walter rushes out. She then tells Walter that Drake and Josh pushed her down onto the ground and the boys get in trouble and are sent inside. 

That's when they decided that enough was enough, and they devise a plan to prank Megan. When Megan is helping Walter do the dishes, the boys crop a UFO into the image displayed on the laptop. When Megan sees this, she gets extremely excited that she found a spaceship and runs to tell her parents. 

Megan then gets a radio to see if she can pick up any alien transmissions. The boys then decide to push the prank a little further and pretend to be aliens on her system from a radio they borrow from Craig and Eric.

Despite Drake initially speaking French into the microphone, the boys pull of a pretty decent alien impression and Megan buys it completely. Drake then has Eric come rewire all of the kitchen appliances so they turn on and off from a remote control and Megan freaks out as well (Fun fact: this is the only episode in the series where Eric is shown without Craig). Megan is then left home alone for the night, and that's when Drake and Josh decide to bring this prank to its grand finale. They get Mindy's third cousin (who just happens to be played by the same actress who plays Janice in Friends) to make them look like real aliens and scare Megan in the backyard.

They then reveal themselves and try teaching Megan a lesson. Then after, a "real" alien appears in the backyard and scares the brothers half to death. We then find out it's one of Megan's friends and she got the better of the boys in the end.
