Best Crazy Steve Moments
A Drake and Josh blog would not be complete without a post about Crazy Steve. One of the minor characters on the show, Crazy Steve was an employee of the Premier movie theater with Josh (and for a brief time, Drake as well). He had a short temper and overreacted to the smallest of things that would happen to him. Although the humor related to this character was more towards the corny side geared towards younger teens, it was still a blast to look back on my favorite moments of his. Hope you enjoy!
1.The time Josh ate his enchilada
If you're familiar with the show, you can probably recall the time Josh ate Crazy Steve's enchilada at work. When Steve initially finds out this devastating news, he remains surprisingly calm because his therapist only allowed him to have a certain amount of outbursts per day and it was "not the time". At the end of the scene, an alarm on his watch goes off and he proceeds to chase Josh around the theater. As a big fan of Mexican food such as myself, I can understand his frustration.
2. The time he was VERY invested in Dora's adventures
A huge rainstorm disrupts a party at the Parker/Nichols residence, and it seems like the only form of entertainment is a small television that had to be cranked to function properly. Crazy Steve is watching Dora the Explorer and we see him getting increasingly interested as the episode progresses. Does he know that Dora can't actually hear him? I'd love to say yes, but we all know what the true answer is. Side note: the ending scene to this episode is one of my personal favorites and I highly recommend re-watching it.
3. The time a stranger missed out on the best party guest of all time
When Crazy Steve overhears a stranger invite people to a party he is throwing, he couldn't help but mention there must have been a mistake with the invites. When he realizes there was no mistake, he makes it known his presence would have made the party significantly better. Flawless.
4. The time he is concerned about Josh's angry candy stacking
It's a rare sight when we see Crazy Steve offer emotional support for others, and this is one of those times. He notices a livid Josh stacking candy onto the counter with a ton of force and goes to see what's the matter. What a guy.
5. The time he was scheduled for work on a Monday
After Mindy was promoted to assistant manager of the movie theater, she unknowingly schedules Crazy Steve to work on his "bad day", aka Monday. This leads to an extremely upset employee, until Josh comes to save the day and calm him down. It's ok Steve, I hate Mondays too.
