Best Josh Nichols Moments

Josh Nichols, in my opinion, is the best casted character in Drake and Josh. Josh served as the perfect opposite of Drake. While Drake was popular and spent his time chasing girls, Josh was much more dorky and spent his time studying and finding himself in embarrassing situations. Josh Peck played the role perfectly. Although nowadays he has grown past his awkward phase, he was the perfect person to play this role. He had many interests that may be embarrassing to a common person (see above), he never shied away from them. Below are some of my favorite moments of Josh Nichols.

1. The time he was super smooth

Season 4, Episode 4. Perhaps one of the most well-remembered moments of the show, I can't think of a better one to start of this list. After he and Mindy had been dating for a while, she finally drops the "L" word on him. Josh responds in typical Josh fashion, with an awkward and panicked line and immediately slams the door and runs away. I'd like to be able to say this was an isolated incident, but unfortunately we all know Josh had many moments like these with women.

2. The time he was a bit too optimistic


Season 4, Episode 19. Drake somehow wins a sky diving trip and goes behind his parents' backs. Josh ends up going too, and the boys get into trouble up in the air when the fuel tank is empty. Although everything turns out well in the end, I don't think Josh was thinking too clearly up there.

3. The time he started inventing words

Season 3, Episode 9. During one of their many arguments, Josh comes back with some wit. They're arguing over the foam finger they fought over when they were kids and Josh held his ground. Just goes to show how big of a deal those two would make of things.

4. The time he wasn't in the mood for comedy

Season 2, Episode 1. One of the best qualities Josh had was if he liked something, he wouldn't stop being interested just because of what people thought. Whether it was his adoration of Oprah, or his resistance to exercise, he was always true to himself.

5. The time he messed up big time

Season 4, Episode 1. Josh's favorite person of all time is none other than Oprah Winfrey. She can help anyone and fix any problem. In order to get back in Josh's good graces after he forgot his birthday, Drake gets them tickets to go see Oprah. However, in the parking lot a distracting dispute between the brothers leads to Josh running over Oprah with his car. Best birthday ever?

Season 4, Episode 12 Now that this blog has reviewed the majority of the major characters of Drake and Josh, it's time to dive into some of my favorite episodes the show has released. The first of which is "Josh is Done", which is the highest rated episode of the series on imdb.com (9.4/10) and for good reason. It broke away from the goofy, lighthearted humor that the show normally used (although there was still plenty of that) and added an element of deep emotion that was very uncommon to Producer Dan Schneider's style. Best Crazy Steve Moments

A Drake and Josh blog would not be complete without a post about Crazy Steve. One of the minor characters on the show, Crazy Steve was an employee of the Premier movie theater with Josh (and for a brief time, Drake as well). He had a short temper and overreacted to the smallest of things that would happen to him. Although the humor related to this character was more towards the corny side geared towards younger teens, it was still a blast to look back on my favorite moments of his. Hope you enjoy! 1.The time Josh ate his enchilada   If you're familiar with the show, you can probably recall the time Josh ate Crazy Steve's enchilada at work. When Steve initially finds out this devastating news, he remains surprisingly calm because his therapist only allowed him to have a certain amount of outbursts per day and it was "not the time". A Review of "Josh Runs into Oprah"

Season 4, Episode 1. Josh loves Oprah. He knows it, Drake knows it, we all know it. This episode has to be included in my blogs because it is certainly one of my favorites in the series. As the title suggests, this episode isn't really that joyful for Josh. But we're getting ahead of ourselves, let's start from the beginning! It's Josh's birthday, and Drake forgets all about it. He tells Josh to meet him at The Premiere later in the day, something Josh believes is a surprise party for him. When he arrives to the theater, he finds out Drake threw a surprise party for his new girlfriend instead. When he finally realizes Drake actually forgot his birthday, he gets upset and storms out. Shortly after, Helen breaks it to Drake that it's Josh's birthday too, and Drake then makes it his mission to make it up to Josh. He rushes home to tell Josh he got them both tickets to a live recording of the Oprah show with backstage passes from one of his band members&
